![]() ![]() Per Click or ImpressionYou see if you have an advertisement that doesn't draw many clicks but gives you name recognition and branding---paying per click just might be the right thing for you because you will get LOTS of IMPRESSIONS that you don't have to pay for. On the other hand if you have an advertisment that draws lots of clicks then you will do better with paying per impressions, as you will get lots of clicks out of the lower cost impressions then you would pay for on a ppc campaign. The key is to do a small amount of test advertising to find out if your ad fits into the pay per click or pay per impression category. I would do this by running 5000-10000 impressions and see what turns up. Once you have determined the behaviour of your advertisement you could either rewrite to suit, or classify the ad into the appropriate category for running.
